Rowing
If the thought of getting out on the water invigorates you, why not give rowing a go? You can row on most bodies of water, like rivers, lakes and canals. And if outdoor rowing doesn’t don’t float your boat (yes, pun intended) you can still get the same buzz on dry land by using a rowing machine at your local gym.
Why row?
Rowing is a great way to get low-impact, cardio exercise. It’s actually one of the most recommended sports for older adults, because it’s been shown to have such a positive effect on physical stamina, muscle strength and bone growth. It can also be good for your mental health, as outdoor rowing is a great way to clear your head and leave your daily stresses behind.
